Sparkly Finds for the Holidays and Beyond

Tess Gold Leaf Table from Worlds Away

Not technically an accessory, this accent table is an interesting piece you’ll love looking at it year round.  Use it in an unexpected way – as a nightstand in your bedroom, daughter’s room or even a nursery.  Adorable set next to a slipcovered white rocker.  Just as pretty in a foyer with simple flowers on top.

Williams Sonoma Home Glass Dashboard Collection

Polished Nickel barware with raised rim to contain drips and spills.  A shiny way to serve drinks or display barware throughout the holiday season and beyond.  I’d love to see the smaller tray on top of a beautiful marble vanity.  Practical enough to hold bath accessories while still showing off a gorgeous stone top.

The vast majority of decorators and designers will tell you that the best way to collect decor for your home is to do it over time and over travels – wherever those may be.  This summer in Rome I became obsessed with Zara Home and everything it had to offer.  Perhaps it doesn’t carry the antiques, one of a kind art and global artifacts “design experts” are referring to when they suggest amassing a collection of home accessories while travelling but that is fine by me. The selection is fresh, simple and fairly priced. If only Zara in the States carried Zara Home.  A girl can dream.  I think I know what to wish for this Christmas…

Check back.  I’ll update this post throughout the holiday season!

Complete with a picture of my fab gold christmas tree…
